Deepak Jain CEO and Co-Founder
Deepak Jain co-founded DeviceFidelity in 2007 around his innovative patent that enables design, development and deployment of the world’s first portable credit/debit card device that slides into mobile phones. The product architecture opens a whole new range of secure, value-added services, such as Mobile TV, wireless broadband access and satellite radio. As CEO, Jain is responsible for all aspects of the business, with a particular focus on technology development, business development, team building and intellectual property management. Prior to DeviceFidelity, Jain was VP of Global Services and Technical Consulting at Gemalto, where he served as lead technologist for North American regional operations. Previously, Jain worked for two years at Axalto as senior director of technology and marketing and spent nearly a decade sharpening his telecommunications skills at Schlumberger. Jain rose to the role of director of wireless services, where he specialized in SIM card technology. In addition to his more than 15 years in the telecommunications industry, Jain’s international experience includes familiarity with the North American, European and Asian markets.
Amitaabh Malhotra Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer
Amitaabh Malhotra co-founded DeviceFidelity in 2007 to bring innovative solutions to the mobile ecosystem through non-traditional channels. He is responsible for day-to-day operations, sales, marketing and business development while managing valuable relationships with DeviceFidelity’s portfolio of clients and partners. He brings more than 15 years of experience in introducing and building markets for new products and solutions. Prior to DeviceFidelity, Malhotra was VP, Global Technical Sales for Venturi Wireless. In this role, Malhotra had the overall responsibility of worldwide technical sales and product marketing along with account management for India, China and emerging markets. Previously, Malhotra was VP Global Wireless Solutions at Superconductor Technologies, where he was instrumental in creating a market for high temperature superconductors applied to commercial RF systems. Malhotra began his career at Lucent Technologies where he was responsible for New Product Introductions, focusing on digital cellular communications technologies and its deployment across all major regions of the world. Malhotra earned an MS in Electrical Engineering with a concentration on Digital Communications and a Certification in Intelligent Transportation Systems from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He earned his BE in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from University of Delhi, India.
Tuan Dao Executive Vice President, Technology
Tuan Dao is responsible for technology development at DeviceFidelity. With an extensive work history in science and varying technologies, Dao founded TLP International, a start-up company targeting digital signage and video networks, where he served as CEO, driving technology, product development and market strategies. Dao also established the first DSP product line (ZSP) for LSI Logic Corporation and served as Vice President and General Manager of the division. ZSP is one of the world's leading licensable DSP architectures. Dao has over 10 years of R&D; and product design experience in microprocessors, digital signal processors and System-On-Chip (SoC) for consumer and mobile electronics as architect and designer at Texas Instruments and Motorola.
Youri Bebic General Manager, NFC Prepaid Services
Youri Bebic is the General Manager NFC prepaid Services at Device Fidelity since September 2011. Previously, Mr. Bebic was the Co-Founder and Vice President Americas at NET1 Virtual Credit Card, a banking software and services company. At NET1, Youri launched the first multiple-award winning virtual payment application distributed on mobile phones riding the rails of MasterCard network. Previously, he was the Senior Vice-President and General Manager of the Telecom Business Unit at Gemalto Inc., a world leader in digital security. He has over 16 years of experience in the telecommunications, prepaid banking and mobile payment, including NFC in the United States, Europe and South America. He is fluent in English, Spanish and French. He has an MS in International Business.
Andy Ramsden Vice President, Business Development EMEA
Andy Ramsden is VP Business Development for Europe, Middle East & Africa. He joined the team in December 2010 to open and establish the European Office and expand the DeviceFidelity business into the European markets. Ramsden joined DeviceFidelity from Telefonica O2 UK where he spent 3 years working on some of the earliest NFC trials and initiatives in Europe. Ramsden was responsible for managing some of the early O2 NFC projects working closely with banks, transit operators, service providers, TSMs and other key players in the emerging NFC ecosystem. He helped architect a commercial model and business case around NFC mobile contactless services and helped to establish the UK MNO Mobile Contactless Forum (UKMCF) where O2, Vodafone, Orange/T-Mobile, 3 and Virgin Mobile all collaborated to help push forward NFC interoperability. Prior to Telefonica O2, Ramsden held various senior positions within BT Global Services, living and working in Germany and the USA as well as the UK. Prior to joining BT, Ramsden graduated with a BSc degree in Mathematics from the University of Essex in Colchester, England. He trekked the Himalayas in 2005 and ran the London Marathon in 2008, raising over £12,000 for charity from both events.
Sachin Moghe Senior Director, Project Management
Sachin Moghe oversees project activity at DeviceFidelity, including all client engagement and internal development projects. Moghe has over 20 years of IT banking experience with numerous roles in software development, infrastructure management, document imaging, and project management. Prior to joining DeviceFidelity, Moghe was a management consultant at Bank of America, responsible for a multi-million dollar risk scoring upgrade project. Previously, Moghe was the head of software development and client delivery at Experian, where he was responsible for all software engineering efforts for a suite of 15 rules-based credit decisioning products. Prior to Experian, Moghe was the head of software development for over 150 credit card applications (underwriting through loss recovery) at Providian Financial. Previously, Moghe was responsible for document imaging and infrastructure, as well as project management at MBNA. Moghe began his career at JP Morgan, where he was responsible for the software engineering of a government securities fixed income trading platform and ACH systems. Moghe is PMP certified and holds a BS in Information Systems and an MBA in Finance, both from NYU’s Stern School of Business. Moghe is also a member of 2007 Men’s 3.0 and 2010 Men’s 3.5 teams from Texas that won the USTA National Tennis Championships.
